[13 Mar 2013] John Victor Roos, U.S. Ambassador to Japan, visited Reconstruction Minister

On 12 March 2013, Mr. John Victor Roos, U.S. Ambassador to Japan, visited Mr. Takumi Nemoto, Reconstruction Minister. Mr. Nemoto expressed gratitude for a variety of assistance provided by the U.S. side after the occurrence of the Great East Japan Earthquake and explained the current status on reconstruction process and efforts by the government. They also shared views on further extending cooperation between the two countries in relation to the reconstruction.
