On October 22, Minister Takeshita and Parliamentary Vice-Minister Koizumi visited both “Nihonbashi Muromachi Marche 2014” and “Kasumi Marche 2014,” to support the disaster affected area, hosted by Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd.
These events aim to assist the disaster affected area through promotion of regional products, sightseeing, as well as mitigating negative rumor about the food safety. Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd, the member of “Yui-no-ba Project” by the Reconstruction Ministry, hosts these events in cooperation with the companies in the affected area.
On the same day, Minister Takeshita also stopped by MIDETTE, Fukushima product shop in Nihonbashi. The Minister purchased goods and tried sampling foods such as Wappa-Meshi, regional specialty of Fukushima.
