Its shops and plants in Miyagi Prefecture suered great damage in the Great East Japan Earthquake. It now produces kamaboko in a new plant that was constructed in 2016, and sells products in its own shops and at stations and the airport in Miyagi Prefecture. In scal 2017, its sales were approximately 720 million yen and it employed roughly 100 employees. It has established a direct sales shop, tour course, and hand-baking corner in its Tagajo plant with a view to conducting exchange with local citizens and tourists. E6
